Engineering Leadership Conference

The inaugural EUS Engineering Leadership Conference is a day-long conference featuring workshops on professional development, leadership, and skills development. These workshops are facilitated by a variety of speakers: from staff members from the UBC CSIC to current EUS executive to alumni. This conference is a chance for members of the EUS, department clubs, ex-officio clubs, and students-at-large to connect and share their experiences.

The organizing committee has divided sessions into two streams: the leadership stream, and the technical stream. All UBC Engineers are welcome to attend either stream or hop between streams. We have chosen the sessions in the leadership stream to target student leaders in particular. The technical stream is intended to help students grow specific skills that are readily applicable to volunteer roles within any organization, or in the workplace.

The conference will take place on October 1st from 9am-4:30pm in the Engineering Student Centre and Kaiser 2020/2030. Delegates will also be invited to join us for a UBC Improv performance at 5pm!
Registration is free and includes a light breakfast and lunch.
