The Industry Director with the APSC Professional Development office in running professional development events and opportunities for constituents. You would also act as a resource to Department Clubs with respect to professional development activities and be responsible for the timely distribution of information on employment opportunities to APSC Professional Development. As Industry Director, you would represent the Society to Engineers and Geoscientists of BC (EGBC), including attending monthly Vancouver Branch meetings and attending the EGBC AGM as the SAC representative.
As a bar rep, you would actively attend social functions to perform bartending duties and assist in the maintenance of ESC Bar equipment. You must obtain a Serving it Right license upon appointment and remain well versed with BC Liquor Laws, and related policies of such on Campus.
Sports Representatives are responsible for assisting the Sports Director in EUS Sports Events including but not limited to EUS Ultimate Frisbee, Futsal, and Flag Football tournaments.
Heath & Wellness Reps
As a health and wellness representative will be responsible for helping the director by promoting mental health and well-being to the Society. This includes helping to host regular events throughout the semester and help organize the bi-Yearly Wellness Fair.
Red Sales Reps
Red Sales representatives are responsible for holding store hours and selling engineering and EUS paraphernalia as well as assisting the Red Sales Directors.
Keepers of the Cairn
In this position as Keeper of the Cairn, you will be responsible for painting the Cairn back after vandalism, as well as painting the Cairn specially for specific events.
ESC technicians are responsible for maintaining EUS technology, including setup and tear-down audio/visual equipment for EUS events.
Photographers take photos at all EUS events attended and then sure proper storage and easy accessibility of all pictures taken through collaboration with the Media Director.
Videographers are responsible for assisting the Video Manager in the creation and editing all EUS Videos.
Graphics Representatives create designs for print materials, such as posters, flyers and banners, for the advertisement of Society events and activities. You will also be responsible for creating designs for merchandise, such as t-shirts, mugs, hats and patches, for sale by Red Sales or for use as promotional material for distribution during Society events or activities.
As an Eatery Representative, you will be responsible for holding store hours in the ESC and selling food from the Eatery. You can redeem $7 worth of food at the end of each two-hour shift.
