Mental Health and wellness committee

The Mental Health & Wellness Ad-hoc Committee seeks to determine the state of and factors affecting mental health & wellness in UBC Engineering students, as well as to provide recommendations to the EUS and Faculty of Applied Science. This committee is chaired by the EUS VP Academic and co-chaired by a member of the committee, and is seeking 2 students-at-large. The committee will meet online monthly until April 2021, and student-at-large may be on co-op or reside outside of Canada. Equity, Diversity, Inclusivity, Indigeneity, Sustainability committee

The EDIIS Ad-hoc Committee mandate is to embed EDI, anti-colonial practices, and sustainability in all operations of the EUS. This committee is divided into two sub-committees, one focusing on EDII and the other focusing on sustainability. Both sub-committees are seeking 2-3 students at large, and will meet online monthly until April 2021. The student-at-large(s) may be on co-op or reside outside of Canada, and are eligible to chair their chosen sub-committee if they wish to nominate themselves.
