EGBC Awards

This page will list all the awards offered by Engineers and Geoscientists British Columbia that undergraduate Engineering students are eligible for. These include the BC Hydro - EGBC Scholarship, Frank Baumann Bursary, EGBC Student Program Scholarship, Matthias Jakob Memorial Scholarship, Sheri Plewes Scholarship for Women in Engineering, the Top Student in the Graduating Class Award, and more! CLOSED

  • A total of 6 scholarships, each valued at $2,500, will be awarded to deserving students studying in accredited engineering programs or in geology, environmental geoscience, or geophysics programs at post-secondary institutions in BC. Students from all engineering and earth science disciplines may apply. Scholarship selection will be based on academic standing, professional or community involvement, a written statement, and the student’s resume. Applications closed at 11:59 PM on Friday, September 27, 2024.

    Eligibility:

    • Applicants must be enrolled in courses or in a co-op program for the current academic year.

    • Applicants must be full-time students in the current academic year.

    • Applicants must be residents of British Columbia.

    • Previously successful applicants who still qualify under the criteria above are not eligible to apply for this scholarship.
