The EUS is proud to participate in Movember this year! Whether you wish to raise money for charity or you want another reason to participate in EUS activities, make sure to check out the numerous Movember related events we have in store for you!

Movember Shave-off

When? November 1st at 5pm
Where? The Engineering Student Center

Do you want to raise money for charity? Have you ever wanted to shave your head? Do you like free swag and cake? Join us for the kick off event of the EUS Movember campaign! 

We will have the wonderful On the Fringe Hair Design shaving heads and beards, swag for those who do so, and a cake to celebrate! Even if you are not involved in the shaving, stop by and cheer on your brave friends!

Movember Run

When? November 6th at noon
Where? The Engineering Student Center

Get started on that MOVEmber goal with the annual Movember Run. A casual 5K run or walk around our beautiful autumn campus. There will be a BBQ with proceeds going to Movember, and a raffle prize! 

Participants will receive free food and a raffle entry upon 5k completion. Food will also be available to purchase, proceeds to Movember!

Schedule 
12:00pm participants arrive and sign up. All you need to sign up is your name and a wish to exercise. 
BBQ starts 
12:30pm 5k starts! 
1:45pm raffle is drawn

Movember Meditation

When? November 8th at 2pm
Where? The Engineering Student Center Conference Room

Feeling that midterm stress? Come unwind and recharge with some mid week meditation! A member of the UBC Meditation Community will be leading us through a Mindfulness Meditation. Do your mental health a favour in the spirit of Movember!

When? November 15th at 6:30pm
