Treasury

Roles involved with the EUS reimbursement process

  • The Treasurer of the EUS helps with tracking the reimbursements done by the VP Finance and keeping relevant spreadsheets up-to-date.

Funds & Grants

Roles involved with managing the funds & grants provided by the EUS

  • The Funds & Grants Administrator helps keep track of all funding opportunities provided by the EUS, including events funding, ex-officio funding, and the sports subsidy. They also sit on Finance Committee.

Eatery

Roles involved with the EUS Eatery

  • The Eatery Director organizes all parts of the ESC Eatery, from training reps and organizing the storefront to planning initiatives and ordering the sandwiches.

  • The Eatery Inventory Manager is the one who keeps the supplies of the Eatery like drinks and snacks up to date. A car is highly recommended for this role.

  • The Eatery Analytics Manager keeps track of transaction data of the Eatery, such as the trends and popular items. They work with the Eatery Director & VP Finance to adjust pricing and stock as necessary.

  • The Eatery Social Media Manager is in charge of the Eatery Instagram account (@euseatery) and promotes it online.

  • The Eatery Rep is the one who works a shift in the Eatery, servicing customers and providing a valuable service for the Engineering community. At the end of their 1 hour shift, they get $5 in credit to be spent at the Eatery.

Red Sales

Roles involved with the EUS Red Sales

  • The Red Sales Director is responsible for the EUS’s merchandise store, Red Sales. They are in charge of training new reps, opening & closing the store, and making sure we have sufficient stock of all our merchandise, like our patches and famous Reds.

  • The Red Sales Design Manager is the person who designs the patches for an Engineer’s Red, both earned and purchased.

  • The Red Sales Social Media Manager is in charge of the Eatery Instagram account (@ubcredsales) and promotes it online.

  • The Red Sales Rep is the one who works a shift in the Red Sales store, selling merchandise and welcoming customers. At the end of their 1 hour shift, they get $2.50 of credit to be spent in the Eatery.
