The primary responsibility of the Social Director is to aid in the execution of EUS or UBC Engineering Department events hosted at the ESC. The Social Director oversees the Bar Manager.

The goal of this position is to organize Bar Representatives for events and maintain the ESC Bar equipment.

Bar reps set up and take town the liquor bar at ESC parties. They also serve the alcohol (a S.I.R. is required and can be reimbursed upon completion of sufficient shifts).

Sports Director is responsible for:

1. Organizing sporting events for the Society.

2. Coordinating with UBC Recreation Intramurals in promoting engineers' participation in sporting events.

3. Organizing at least three inter-departmental sporting events per year.

4. Coordinating the Society’s participation and efforts to win the UBC Recreation Triple Crown.

The Sports Director oversees the Ski Trip manager and FitnEUS manager.

Plans and organizes the annual EUS ski trip which typically happens around Term 2 reading week and has space for about 50 students.

Assists the Sports Director in any and all fitness related events, such as runclub, rock climbing, swimming, etc.

Plans and organizes trivia events for the Society each term. This includes Genius Bowl which happens once a year during E-Week.

The Trivia Manager will also help create and maintain an updated list of trivia questions.
